开放式、国际化是公司公司产品的一项重要目标。目前，公司已与美国天普大学、犹他州立大学、新加坡国立大学等单位建立了良好稳定的联合培养员工合作计划；每年接收国际职工10名左右，每年公派接近10名研究生到国外高水平大学进行联合培养或攻读博士学位。为切实提升公司研究生语言应用能力,使之具备国际化视野，公司决定从本学期开始开设研究生外语能力提升课程“化学与世界”，课程具体情况如下：

授课人： Somnath Mukherjee（公司外籍专任教师）

Somnath Mukherjee obtained his PhD degree in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata, India, in 2013. During his PhD tenure, he achieved ACCT (I) Young Scientist award-2011 and also some other awards by presenting his research work in several conferences. He did his first, second and third postdocs at IISER Thiruvananthapuram (TVM), Shaanxi Normal University, China and IISER Kolkata, respectively. In July, 2015, he joined Academy of Technology, India, as an assistant professor in the Dept. of Chemistry and taught Six courses (Organic Chemistry and Engineering Chemistry) for undergraduate students. Currently, he is a lecturer (Foreign Teacher) in School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Shaanxi Normal University, China, since March, 2018 and teaching two courses (Supramolecular Chemistry, Colloids and Interface Chemistry) for undergraduate students. In addition, he teaches ‘Laboratory Safety Training Course’ for international doctoral students. He has almost six years of teaching experience in chemistry. He has published 17 peer-reviewed research papers in various international SCI journals of repute. His research interests focus on molecular gels, sugar based soft materials, mechanical properties of carbohydrate crystals and water dynamics using 2D IR spectroscopy.
